Introduction
The Master’s Degree in Border Security Management is designed to equip professionals with the advanced skills and knowledge needed to address the evolving challenges of securing borders in a globalized world. This program prepares students to manage complex issues in border security, including immigration control, counter-terrorism, human trafficking prevention, and the facilitation of lawful trade and travel.
Through a combination of theoretical learning and practical training, the curriculum covers critical areas such as border policy analysis, risk assessment, intelligence gathering, and international cooperation. Admission Requirements
- Candidates must have at least five credits in WAEC, NECO or GCE Ordinary Level which should include English Language and Mathematics.
- A minimum of Bachelor Degree in a relevant area from University of Abuja or any other recognized University, or HND with a Minimum of Merit Grade and NYSC completion or exemption certificate.
- d) Candidates with sufficient professional experience and training in relevant fields but without some of the requirements above are encouraged to apply.
Duration and Delivery Mode:
The Masters in Strategic Security and Protection Management course shall consist of both contacts and online (Hybrid) delivery for a minimum three semesters or maximum of four semesters.
